Just a short note to let you know, it is going well with my practice. At times I could only fit patients in within a two week booking schedule.I did not think that people will just absorb, what I have got to offer.
Clinical Hypnosis is definitely the answer for more than I thought in the beginning.I am currently sitting with 12 interested patients, who suffers from Tinnitus. I would like to know, if the Board does not perhaps have some information on how to treat Tinnitus under hypnosis. I have had referral letters from Audiologists, which requires me to help in the process. I do not want to offer my expertise in this matter, if I
cannot get the right information. Please bear in mind that I have read a lot up on Tinnitus.I have looked through some websites, but I do not think it is so professional as the National Board's information, I received. It seems that I should soon complete the trainer course of the Board,as I will need two or three assistants in the near future. I will let you know.

Thank you for rush delivery on the first Basic Course. I received as I was traveling out of town for business. I was able to study several hours at the motel without disruptions. This course refreshed my memory from many past studies and practice in the use of hypnosis. I was very pleased to see that you are using the Ericsonian method and provide positive suggestions. I did not understand at first why it was so be labored as it seemed to take twice as long as any sessions that I ever conducted on my own. After watching the video and reading the script I understand better now that this is for future progression, and not so much just for the one session. The way it is worded and presented it increases the success rate, by not assuming that the individual feels a particular way. I always had to guess and rely heavily on my own sixth sense. I have already learned a great deal that I did not understand totally from former practice and studies. I answered most of the test questions, however, I am going to go back and re-read everything and watch and listen to the video several more times and re-check answers. It is a small community and people talk. I have absolutely no doubts in my ability to ethically utilize your philosophy and trainings. "In my 28 years as a police officer hypnosis was offered hoping that it would be used in cases of victim/witness recall and other crimes. Each time due to shift work I was unable to attend. Seeing it done many times, I read a number of books on the subject and even did successfully put individuals into hypnosis. While I could do it, something was missing. The missing ingredient was proper training.

Searching the internet I came across the N.B.P.E.S. courses, after seeing many expensive courses that offered little in the way of training, I chose this one. Not only is the content easy to follow, there is life time support, which by the way has been excellent and being accepted in a professional organization.

Finally after 28 years it is about time to hang up the badge this July/99 but after working literally on your own, being independent even though you have partners and supervisors to answer to, I feel I can not work in the private sector for civilians. You know the feeling the way the the public in general looks at police offers. Not to mention when they find out that you are collecting a pension and now work at another job, there is some resentment.

Now as a Master Hypnotherapist, I can set my own hours, help people in all walks of life with their problems and make a very comfortable salary, all on my own, with my self as the boss. I plan on also taking the "Teach the Teacher" course so that I may instruct other officers that have difficulty in attending such courses. It is more that worth the time to learn from the board and Dr. Brady and all they have to offer. Another plus was Dr. Brady's book on Positive Thinking. I saw so much of my self in his words and felt that I was his twin.
